Marle Place Gardens and Gallery, Brenchley

At Marle Place landprints inspired by a year in the garden and woodland from September to August were on show in the gallery. Printed directly on the ground, and as large as 2 x 3m, the prints, though robust show the subtlety and drama of the year's cycle and changing seasons. Thorns and branches gouge the paper, autumn fruits and nuts stain vivid pinks and russets, while flowers and blossoms stain with more gentle colour.
